Nespresso Lattissima Coffee Maker Review
The Lattissima is the next step in Nespresso's one-touch brewing. It can make lungo and espresso in under an hour, and can accept various capsules from the company.

It is also easy to reprogram the machine to make the exact drink you want. This is a wonderful feature for busy households.
Easy to use
This black Nespresso machine, which is basic in appearance, is easy to maintain and use. It is simple and minimalist in design and has a single button on top that controls everything from powering cleaning to making coffee. Take off the lid, put the capsule inside and press to start the brewing. It quickly heats up and offers a variety of drinks, including a double espresso, or five, 8- or 18-ounce coffees. It even comes with a steaming wand that can be used for making a delicious milk texture for your drinks. We like the compact design and simple interface, however, we noticed that the machine doesn't make as rich a espresso or coffee as some of the more expensive models. It's also not as simple to recycle the capsules as other machines we've tested. This Nespresso wasn't the top pick in our side-by-side test due to these reasons.
Quick to Brew
The Nespresso machine brews a cup of coffee in about 15 seconds. The hot water from the reservoir enters a pump that is able to penetrate the tiny holes that are on the top of the pod. It is then mixed with the compacted ground coffee inside and drips into your cup. The machine produced an extremely rich, delicious espresso with just a hint of bite when we tested it using Jones Brothers and Bestpresso coffee capsules. We tested almond, whole and 2% milks, and all worked well.
Easy to clean
Cleaning the Nespresso machine is crucial both inside and out. This will keep the machine in good condition and ensure its safety. It can also make the coffee you make taste better. You can make use of a variety of cleaners to clean a Nespresso, including vinegar. It is however recommended to make use of a descaling solution instead, since vinegar can cause damage to your machine.
To clean your Nespresso machine take out all capsules. Then, clean nespresso coffee pod machine and the capsule container. Then fill a sink or large bowl with warm water and add a few squirts dish soap. Let the drip tray or container soak for a few minutes in the soapy solution to remove any stain or gunk. Rinse the drip tray and capsule container using hot water. Then, use a nonabrasive cloth or sponge to scrub off any stains or residues. After you scrub the capsules and drip tray then rinse them once more and let them completely dry before returning them to the machine.
After your machine has been cleaned, it's time to descale. Follow the steps in your user manual to follow a particular procedure. You can also design your own DIY descaling solution with citric acid or white vinegar. If you are using vinegar, make sure that it's white vinegar, not balsamic or apple as they are too aggressive.
